Illustration completed in Adobe Illustrator, separated into necessary layers in Adobe Photoshop and animated in Adobe Premiere Pro. Sound effects from Freesound.org. To see more of this illustration please visit my Architectural Illustration page.
This is a tree in the backyard of a house that I rented once upon a time. First, I created a black & white image from the original color photograph. Then I separated it into two layers in Photoshop. Then I opened the layered Photoshop file (PSD) in After Effects and used the Puppet Position Pin Tool to create the animation. The sound effects came from Envato Elements and Freesound.org, the fog overlay from Premium Beat and the rain was generated in After Effects.
I photographed this spider, a Yellow Garden Spider (Argiope aurantia), not far from where I live. We see them frequently in the summer and fall. I used Photoshop to separate the spider and its legs from the background and put them on different layers (eight layers in all). Then I used the Puppet Pin Tool in After Effects to animate the legs and a wiggle expression (applied to the position and rotation) to make the spider move around a bit. I animated a simple mask to make the text appear and disappear. Particle overlay and sound from Envato Elements.
Subtle star twinkle and a couple of shooting stars. This would work well as an animated GIF if I could figure out how to shrink the GIF file size that Premiere Pro produces. To see more of this illustration please visit my Architectural Illustration page.
